For many people, the heart of the Festival is the Market and Craft fair. Seventy stalls selling a wonderful variety of goods from around the world. Jackets and coats from Nepal and Venezuela, trousers and shirts from India, silver and gemstone jewellery from all across the globe.
T-shirts in an amazing array of dazzling designs just crying out to be bought are available from several traders. There are food stalls to tempt every palette and coffee and tea to refresh your taste buds as well. Stalls in the marquee will fulfil all your needs with musical instruments, books, pottery, soaps, records, paintings, and more.
If you have some time to kill, amble around the stalls, have a beer, get some lunch or even breakfast if you are up that early!
