THere is magic, juggling, balloon modelling and other fun for children on Sandpit field
on Saturday and Sunday between 11.00 and 5.00pm.

Kevin Burke. Magician, Juggler, Entertainer
Based right here in Swanage, family entertainer Kevin Burke will be bringing his unique style of fun and frolics to the Folk Festival’s children’s programme this year.
Whether performing mind boggling magic, roaming around on stilts, twisting balloons, or showing off his circus skills, all that Kevin does is presented with an easy-going humour and spark of silliness that has endeared him to thousands upon thousands of happy audiences throughout his long career.
Catch him throughout the day on the Sandpit Field during Saturday and Sunday… you won’t be disappointed!
Children’s activity pack
A fun way for children and families to explore the Swanage Folk Festival together.
Pick up a free activity pack from the Information Tent and complete all four sections:
The Gnome Hunt – find the hidden gnomes around the festival.
The Secret Swanage Trail – discover interesting places and fun facts about Swanage.
The Morris Dance Trail – watch the dancers, answer the questions and learn about this traditional art.
The Grown-ups’ Page – a few quick questions to help us learn more about the families who visit the festival and how we can make it even better.
Return your completed pack to the Information Tent by 3:00pm on Sunday. Every child who returns a completed pack will receive some chocolate, and completed Gnome Hunt entries will be entered into the draw to win a £50 toy shop voucher.
