The Swanage Folk festival were very pleased to hand over a cheque for £500 to the The Purbeck Furniture Bank at the festival’s 2026 celebration event.

“We are a non-profit organisation of unpaid volunteers we aim to break even nad hopefully create a surplus. Any surplus is given to local good causes. It is good to support such a worthy orgnisation as the Purbeck Furniture Bank”
The Purbeck Furniture Bank supports people in need by providing good-quality, donated furniture and household items at low or no cost. Formerly known as BESOM, they help individuals and families set up safe, comfortable homes while reducing waste through reuse and community donations.
The Swanage Folk Festival is self-funded and run solely by volunteers. If we manage to create a small surplus we donate it to local good causes. We rely on your support, please volunteer to help and / or donate.
