The Swanage Folk festival were very pleased to hand over a cheque for £2,500 to the the Purbeck Youth TradFolk Collective at the festival’s celebration event. Matt Tarling receives a cheque from Mike Bonfield (Swanage Mayor).

“We are a non-profit organisation of unpaid volunteers we aim to break even nad hopefully create a surplus. Any surplus is given to local good causes. We are especially proud to help the Purbeck Youth TradFolk Collective – young musicians learning folk music, because young people are the future of folk.”
The Purbkec Youth Tradfolk collective also played for the audience.
The Swanage Folk Festival is self-funded and run solely by volunteers. If we manage to create a small surplus we donate it to local good causes. We rely on your support, please volunteer to help and / or donate.
