Marlings Morris

Marlings Morris are a mixed North West Morris side from Edenbridge in Kent. They dance in blue, purple, white and black.

The name Marlings comes from a North West dialect word meaning having fun.

The side was founded in 2001 and has moved around North West Kent, practising in Edenbridge since 2013.

They dance at Festivals, Pubs, Fetes and occasionally tour abroad. Some of their dances date back to the 1800’s and take their name from the towns in Lancashire and Cheshire where they originated, they also dance a number of newer dances written in the North West style.

Each year Swanage is filled with a music and dance spectacle,
including FREE and ticketed events across the weekend.
