Krelys

Krelys are a high energy Irish trad band from Cornwall. They have a repertoire comprising the best of the tradition – contemporary tunes from top Irish musicians, and those from the core of Irish music. Add in powerful songs with strong social commentary and you have a mighty combination to leave you buzzing.

Tristan (fiddle), Helen (fiddle, whistle, voice), Chris (guitar) and Keith (bodhrán), have been playing together since 2018. They are a sought after ceilidh band as well as playing gigs and sessions. Tristan & Helen have a lifelong background in folk & trad music, Tristan having lived in Sligo for 5 years. Chris and Keith came to the music a little later, but together bring a percussive, full sound, complimenting the energy of the tunes.
