Garston Gallopers

Garston Gallopers are a mixed Morris dancing side based at East Garston in the Valley of the Racehorse, West Berkshire.

Their typical Cotswold style costume includes ‘bells and baldricks’ in the colours of purple and green, the village colours from the school uniform and the racing colours of a prominent racehorse trainer from the village.

The galloper emblem is the Carousel Galloper, a classic from the traditional British vintage funfair.

Each year Swanage is filled with a music and dance spectacle,
including FREE and ticketed events across the weekend.
